I took the month off of piano teaching and enjoyed making cookies, making Christmas cards and playing around the house. Ever since my neighbor Mary Adams taught us how to do the cool sugar cookies a few years ago we always make a few big batches of cookies. The kids love to decorate them. Our kitchen stays messy though, it seems like for weeks, because of left over frosting waiting for the next batch of sugar cookies.

OK--those are sooo amazingly beautiful and delicious looking--when you come in July (hint hint) bring me a plate of those yummy cookies!
